A New Year’s resolution is a commitment that a person makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. A key element to a New Year’s Resolution that sets it apart from other resolutions is that it is made in anticipation of the New Year and new beginnings. People committing themselves to a New Year’s resolution generally plan to do so for the whole following year. This lifestyle change is generally interpreted as advantageous.

Here’s a brief run-down of some common advantages and disadvantages:

CrossFit Program Advantages:

  • Short workouts
  • Extremely effective
  • Safe
  • Scaled to your level
  • Endless variety
  • Challenging

CrossFit Program Disadvantages:

  • You may have to buy new clothes after a few months
  • Some people are very uncomfortable being humbled by challenging workouts
  • People think you’ve joined a cult given your new enthusiasm for fitness

CrossFit is a different type of exercise routine. It is a well-rounded and very efficient way to achieve a higher level of fitness. It is a program that does not need a whole lot of fancy equipment, but does offer a nice variety to keep the interest level up and provide the challenge needed to keep the exercise fun.
