When did you start CrossFitting?

About three and a half years ago.

Why did you start?

One of my friends was really into it and he had me do a WOD with him. It was “Kelly.”

What were your thoughts after the first workout?

“This was way harder than it sounded at the beginning.” Which is also what I still think after each WOD.

What is your favorite WOD?

“DT”

5 rounds

12 Dead lifts

9 Hang power cleans

6 Push jerks

RX 155 (I’ve only done 135)

Least Favorite WOD?

Not one in particular, anything with box jumps though.

What are your interests outside of CrossFit?

Most sports, camping, hiking, repelling, involvement with church, landscaping, business ideas, I could go on.

What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit at SRC?

There will likely be movements, lifts or exercises that you are not very good at, at first. It will be a little frustrating, but work through it and keep showing up. I promise you will get better at them.

What is one thing we might not already know about you?

I have been skydiving twice.
