When did you start CrossFitting?

October 2012.

Why did you start?

I needed a new workout program. I needed something that challenged me and pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I wanted to get stronger and feel better.

What were your thoughts after the first workout?

Holy cow that was hard! Even though it was tough, I was excited that I lived through it and couldn’t wait to come back.

What is your favorite WOD?

My favorite WOD so far was the 12 days of Christmas. It was long but I worked just about every muscle in my body. I was so proud of myself when it was over.

Least Favorite WOD?

Manion! By far the hardest I have worked at CrossFit so far.

Favorite Lift?

Snatch.

Least Favorite Lift?

Overhead squat.

What are your interests outside of CrossFit?

I love cooking (Paleo of course) and traveling. I’m usually doing one or the other in my free time.

What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit at SRC?

Don’t be intimidated and don’t get overwhelmed. Give it a month and you’ll be hooked.

What is one thing we might not already know about you?

I am scared of heights… Really, I’m scared of everything.
