When did you start CrossFitting?

June 2013.

Why did you start?

Amanda and I were looking for something challenging and new. We both love learning as well as achieving new and higher fitness goals.

What were your thoughts after the first workout?

I almost didn’t come back. This was something I wasn’t naturally good at, and that frustrated me. But it is also what drew me in. I determined to suck it up and better myself.

What is your favorite WOD?

Anything with running, pull-ups and toes to bar.

What are your interests outside of CrossFit?

Being active outside, grilling and shooting sports.

What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit at SRC?

Be consistent, work hard and only compare yourself to the person you were when you started.

What is one thing we might not already know about you?

I am a major Clint Dempsey fan (EPL soccer) but despise Tottenham – the team he currently plays for.
