When did you start CrossFitting?

I began CrossFitting on May 26, 2013.

Why did you start?

I wanted a gut check. I wanted to see what I was made of. I had an itching to be pushed, but I couldn’t find it until I went jogging on the Swamp Rabbit trail one day and found SRC.

What were your thoughts after the first workout?

That I was going to die again the next day if I didn’t change and drop some bad habits.

What is your favorite WOD?

My favorite WOD is any one that includes cleans, clean and jerk, thrusters, deadlifts, or anything that requires max effort.

Least Favorite WOD?

My least favorite WOD is any workout with rope climbs or double unders, double unders suck!

Favorite Lift?

Favorite lift is clean and jerk.

Least Favorite Lift?

Least favorite lift is back squats.

What are your interests outside of CrossFit?

I like to hike, camp, explore, drive, play baseball, softball, fish and hunt.

What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit at SRC?

Show up, keep showing up, and when the trainers push you to the point where you want to stop your workout, puke, and throw something at them… just keep going. You will thank them later.

What is one thing we might not already know about you?

I enjoy dodgeball days at SRC. Will please don’t ban me.
