MOVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE SERIES with Seth Oberst, DPT
Seth leads a series of hands-on workshops, each specifically targeting areas of the body that require consistent maintenance. While books and videos can be extremely helpful in self teaching mobility, maintenance and recovery, the amount of information available is often overwhelming. Let us guide you through exercises that work for you and help you toss the ones that are not offering change. You will walk away with a better understanding of mobility exercises that can be used in the future before and after class and day to day to maximize performance.

Performance is what drives the human animal, but the human animal can be brought to an abrupt halt by dysfunctional movement patterns and underlying restrictions in mobility. Oftentimes, the factors that impede performance are invisible to not only the untrained eye, but also the majority of athletes and coaches. We follow Kelly Starrett’s systematic approach to make the invisible visible with mobility WOD education to our coaches and staff.
Our coaches are able to spot common movement errors that can cause injury and rob you of speed, power, endurance, and strength. Whether you are a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or simply someone wanting to live healthy and free from restrictions. Let us help you maintain your body and harness your genetic potential with daily mobility work during class.

We are so lucky to have Seth Oberst, DPT on staff educating our coaches and athletes on proper mechanics and arming us with tools to prevent injury. Seth has worked with Kelly Starrett on the exact techniques he’s been sharing with the world at Mobility WOD. You can find Seth assisting classes throughout the week as well as working one on one with our athletes.
Head Coach, Jessica Clohessy, is also a 200 hour certified yoga instructor and has completed the CrossFit Mobility Course with Kelly Starrett. Join Jess in class for mobility work and ask for some tips anytime you see her in the building. Jessica also offers one on one yoga and mobility sessions.
