Brandi discovered CrossFit in 2009. She has been a native to the area her whole life and found a small group who had recently began CrossFit in her area. This type of training was unheard of at this time, so it instantly grabbed her attention. “I watched people lifting barbells, running fast, and doing pull ups. I thought there was NO way I would be able to do these things. I mean lift a barbell? Or pull myself up on a pull up bar?! Nope. But, I was going to try. After doing WODs for several months, my body started doing things I had never imagined. I remember getting my first knees to elbow, toes to bar, and pull up and LOVING those moments!” After two years of training, she earned her CrossFit Level 1 certification and began coaching at a local box. She loves to train and loves to train others and help them achieve their goals and show them what their bodies are capable of. She believes inside every successful gym spirals down from the top. Swamp Rabbit CrossFit has coaches who care about their athletes, are continuously learning and bettering theirselves as coaches, and play vital roles in transforming our community through fitness. She is excited and honored to be a part of SRCF and looks forward to growing closer and stronger together in the future.
